Rogge Cloof Accommodation

Accommodation and the Area

Rogge Cloof Private Nature Reserve offers fully self-catering accommodation. Except for the Tulip Homestead, units are situated within the Rogge Cloof Village. The Village is 11 km's away from the Rogge Cloof Reception and main Restaurant area. This allows for a leisurely self-game-drive through the reserve, on the way to the units. Roads on the reserve are gravel, but are accessible to sedans. SUV or 4x4 Vehicles will however, allow guests the opportunity to explore the reserve area more comfortably on their own.

Rogge Cloof operates on solar power, except for the Tulip Homestead, which operates from the national electricity grid.

The solar electrical supply system does not accommodate appliances such as microwave ovens, hair dryers, coffee makers, or electric kettles, which operate with electrical elements. Power sockets for recharging phones and laptops are provided. The units are cosy and warm, with sufficient thick blankets, hot water bottles and fireplaces. Gas heaters and additional wood are available at a fee.
