Guided Cheetah Tracking

Rogge Cloof Reserve is a closed-system and is surrounded by Karoo sheep farms. Although they are wild and hunt for themselves, Cheetahs on Rogge Cloof are collared and closely monitored.

Guided Cheetah Tracking on the Reserve is subject to various internal and external factors, such as the location of the cheetahs on the Reserve at the time, weather, movement of the cheetahs, research and conservation processes, such as medical examinations, re-collaring and relocation of cheetahs, and therefore cheetah tracking outings may sometimes not be possible.

For similar reasons, when on a tracking outing, sighting of the cheetahs cannot be guaranteed at all times.
